Thank you so much for making our reopening weekend at the Chippy so magnificent! We were in-undated with comments, emails, private message and phone calls. We LOVE hearing from you all and it keeps us on our toes.
BUT, let's be honest...
We usually fry 6 days a week and are set up to offer the best service and food that we can in our busy Cafe and Chippy. We usually have a team of over 30 staff that enable us to provide all of this and more to you. We would like to be able to continue offering a much loved great Fish & Chip takeaway, and we would also like to open on more days of the week.
However, our priority is to keep you and our staff safe by adhering to social distancing. Because of this, at present, we have very minimal staff and really appreciate your patience whilst we continue to adjust. At present we are only able to offer ordering over the phone, so we please ask that you have your order ready before you ring.
So that we can continue to offer our takeaway service, we will continue to ONLY take orders on the day over the phone. We WILL NOT be able to provide a takeaway for anyone who turns up without pre-ordering and paying. Safety is paramount and we cannot accommodate walk-in orders at the moment.
We hear that some of you have not been able to get through and for this we apologise. Lots of people love our White Row Chippy as much as we do!
We are doing our very best to answer all of your calls, and we appreciate your positivity and patience whilst our staff work incredibly hard to continue bringing you the delicious meals and great service you know us for.
We have listened, and are now able to open the Chippy on Wednesdays, too!
So, the new opening times will be: Wed, Thur, Fri & Sat 12-8 / Last orders at 7.30pm. Our phone lines will be open from 9am on these mornings ready to take your orders.
We feel incredibly lucky to have an abundance of home grown produce available & our suppliers are also being supported through sales of our takeaway, providing much needed business throughout this extremely difficult time for us and other local businesses.
