Whether you’re popping in en route to Longleat or staying for the day, there’s plenty here to keep little ones busy and grown-ups well fed—no fuss, no hard sell – just a brilliant Somerset stop-off.

Outside: The Good Life (Unfiltered)

This is the kind of place where wellies are welcome and the WiFi signal is optional. Kids can let loose in the outdoor play area (yes, there’s a sandpit and diggers), say hello to pigs and ponies, and race around in fresh Somerset air. Fancy a treat? Grab a Marshfield's ice cream from the shop and head up the field. It’s exactly the kind of wholesome chaos half-term needs.
