Fresh New Summer Menus at White Row Farm Shop, Café & Evening Restaurant

Our new Summer menu has arrived here at White Row Farm.

There’s been a change on our Fish & Chip menu. Here’s why we’ve stepped away from cod as our regular choice.

So what's new?

A new season always brings a shift in the kitchen, and our latest menu updates are all about fresh flavours, quality produce, and a few dishes we think are going to become firm favourites.

There is plenty that’s new across the menus this season, with lighter dishes, fresher flavours and a few things we suspect may become firm favourites rather quickly.

You’ll spot freshly grilled folded flatbreads, filled with falafel, roast pepper hummus, courgette tzatziki, tomato and mint, finished with sweet pickled red onion. Fresh, colourful and full of flavour.

Our new Chicken Caesar Salad has also arrived, with crisp bacon, crunchy croutons and plenty of proper Parmesan. Fresh, generous and ideal for warmer days.

There is a new Cajun Chicken Burger on the menu too, layered with smashed avocado, melting Cheddar and tomato, served alongside chips or salad. Slightly messy, entirely worth it.

And after proving themselves in our evening restaurant, our tacos have officially earned a place in the spotlight too! Already tried, tested, and very well received during our Thursday to Saturday evening service, they’ve quickly become one of the standout dishes on the menu.

For breakfast, the new BLT keeps things properly simple. Hobbs House thick cut bread, crisp lettuce, juicy tomato and smoky bacon from our butchery. No unnecessary reinvention, because some things are already perfect.

You’ll also find our new homemade granola on the breakfast menu, made in house with quinoa, coconut, seeds and dried fruit, served with fruit compote and dairy free yoghurt. Fresh, light and quietly addictive.

And for smaller appetites, our new children’s deli platter has joined the menu too, with cream cheese, crunchy vegetables, apple and optional ham or chicken. A proper little grazing board for children who like to eat a bit of everything.

One of the newest arrivals is our lunchtime special and chippy menu line-up is Hoki, joining our much-loved Haddock and Hake. You may also notice cod is no longer on the menu, a thoughtful change made in support of more responsible fishing.

Hoki is delicate, flaky, and perfect alongside proper chips and homemade sides, making it a brilliant addition to our fish offering. We’ve also made tartar sauce a standard addition to every fish dish.

Alongside the new dishes, you’ll find plenty of seasonal bites appearing throughout the menu too. From produce harvested from our own fields here at White Row to ingredients sourced from local growers and suppliers, summer naturally shapes what ends up on the plate this time of year.
